Ever feel like your wasting water? Well I do all the time… so today I’m offering up a few quick tips to conserve water in your home.

  1. Check faucets and pipes for leaks  - see how to fix a leaky faucet
  2. Install water-saving shower heads - click here
  3. Take shorter showers (I’m the worst with this one) – order a shower timer
  4. Turn off the water after you wet your toothbrush
  5. When washing dishes by hand, don’t leave the water running for rinsing
(If you have a double-basin, fill one with soapy water and one with rinse water.)

I’m going to start with #5 on this list tomorrow! Everyday we take for granted our water supply. One cannot even imagine life without a steady, cool supply of water. But if we think for a second, we can work towards conserving water and conserving our resources for our planet.
